Christine Duffin is a mix-media artists with an emphasis on 3D work in metal, wood and paper.  Much of her work relates to mark making, mapping and abstractions of the bodily form.  Christine did her first degree in Philosophy and took up art in 2015 when she was nearing retirement from commerce.   She uses her philosophical interests and her age as research points in her art, and her art as an expression of her research into the nature of being, the spatial construction of society and the residue marks due to age, erosion and decomposition.  Christine  is currently doing a BA(Hons) in Fine Art in London.
